Acoustic Rigid Baffles Improve Church Hall
or years, trustees of the Sudbury Memorial Congressional Church searched for an acoustic solution to an echo filled hall. They had a vision for the space to sound great and be lively for events and musical performances. They didn’t know where to turn, until they found DDS Acoustical Specialties who proposed the idea of Acoustic Rigid Baffles.

Acoustic Office Treatment at Aegis Energy Services, LLC
It was determined that one Call Service Area, one Conference Room and the office of the CFO would be treated. These are all areas where speech intelligibility and speech privacy were critical. An initial site assessment included development of RT60 calculations to determine the amount of acoustical absorption needed in the spaces.

Mary Ellen Riemenschneider joins DDS Acoustical Specialties, LLC as Senior Project Engineer
DDS Acoustical Specialties, LLC is thrilled to announce the addition of Mary Ellen Riemenschneider to its team as Senior Project Engineer. Mary will be working directly with customers, ensuring the proper application of products. She will be interfacing with our material suppliers and other vendors to provide clear, concise explanations of the solutions we propose. Most of all, she will be responsible for the overall customer satisfaction for each project.

Mill at Crane Pond
Recently we successfully tackled these very same issues for The Mill at Crane Pond properties, located in Westfield Massachusetts. The space has been earmarked as an Open Work Collaborative area, with an additional Meeting and Training Room.

ESG Clean Energy LLC – In Progress
In the city of Holyoke, MA there are specific noise stipulation that need to be followed for industrial buildings and equipment. ESG Clean Energy LLC contacted DDS Acoustical Specialties because they were building a new facility and needed to mitigate noise coming from their various generators as well as the ventilation system that will be keeping the units cool.

Hitchcock Brewing
DDS Acoustical Specialties utilized Chroma panels by Sound Seal to tame the acoustics in the tasting room of the Hitchcock Brewing facility on-site at Kringle Candle. A number of years ago, owner Rich Pederson followed his passion and opened a brewery.

Dalkia Aegis, EDF Group – Industrial
Having outgrown their facility at 55 Jackson St. in Holyoke, MA, they turned to a historic old building immediately adjacent to their existing facility. Built in 1880, the building, while neglected, showed promise.

The Tell Tool Division of Cadence Aerospace has a long and storied history of making precision parts for the aerospace industry. As they continue to grow and thrive, space becomes a premium. As the facility houses more and more activity, it was apparent that noise was going to become an issue.
