A Year of Growth and Highlights, 2022 Recap
2022 started with just us, Steve and I (Dave). We knew this was a year for growth that we had been planning for.
New Team Members
Our team was one of the first things to expand in 2022. We knew that if we wanted to help more people solve their noise problems and improve the sound quality in their spaces that we needed more hands on deck.
We happily brought on Tyler Hadley and Mary Riemenschneider as Director of Marketing and Senior Project Engineer respectively. This duo has helped us develop our brand, raise awareness, improve customer service and communication, and show customers that we are the go-to resource to solve noise problems.
In addition, we also had some great help come out to support us during installations. So a big shout out to those folks as well.
Exciting Projects and Events
In 2022 we started exploring where we could go to find people and businesses who are experiencing noise issues. We attended several networking events, tradeshows, and conferences to show people what DDS Acoustical Specialties is all about.
With additional awareness, more needs started to come through the door. And we were happy to help. We completed projects at libraries, churches, industrial facilities, restaurants, dog kennels, offices, and much more. It goes to show that regardless of what industry a business is in, there is always potential for noise to be a problem.
One of our favorite projects? We love the ongoing work with ESG Clean Energy. Their first U.S.-based project in Holyoke, Mass., is now generating up to 3.9 MW of clean electricity and producing deionized water. We are thrilled to help them develop and engineer acoustic solutions so that their systems abide to local noise ordinances and protect their employees. These projects utilize a number of different products from partner manufacturers such as Sound Seal and Noise Barriers.
What’s in store for 2023?
We plan to continue on the trend we’ve been on and provide an exciting and fun place to work for our team where we can make a real difference. We will lean into the idea that we don’t just sell and install acoustic products but rather we have solutions that provide comfort, privacy, and safety.
Thank to all of our customers, partners, family, and friends who have supported us over the last year. Looking forward to a successful 2023!
